First Nations Health Authority Counselling in BC

I am now accepting insurance coverage for clients who are eligible for coverage through First Nations Health Authority (FNHA).

This service offers pre-approved coverage through the First Nations Health Authority. I have completed the San'Yas Indigenous Cultural Safety Training, in addition to receiving a Masters level education and specialized trainings, such as Eye-Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused CBT.

The San'Yas Indigenous Cultural Safety Training helps to provide the true history of Indigenous People in Canada. Through past work experience, I also bring understanding of the unique challenges faced by Indigenous populations in BC. I am mindful of the impact intergenerational trauma can have on present day challenges.

How does it work?

If you have a status number, you can contact me through the form below. From there, with your permission, I can support in finding out if you qualify for FNHA Counselling through First Nations Health Authority, for approximately 22 sessions.

Crime Victim Assistance Program Counselling

Crime victim assistance Program (CVAP) Approved Counselling

Trauma-Informed Support with Direct Billing Options

If you or a loved one has been physically or emotionally impacted by a violent crime or traumatic event in British Columbia, financial barriers shouldn't stand in the way of your recovery. BC's Crime Victim Assistance Program (CVAP) is designed to support anyone impacted by a violent crime that occurred within British Columbia. This includes direct victims, immediate family of victims, and witnesses of a crime.

Quiet Coast Counselling is a recognized provider for CVAP. This program provides provincial funding for professional clinical counselling to help individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, PTSD, and grief.

Note: You do NOT need a police report or an active criminal charge to apply for or receive CVAP funding. Your safety and emotional recovery are the sole priorities.

3 Simple Steps to Start Your Crime Victim Assistance Program Care

  1. Apply for Your Benefits by completing a short application through the official BC Government CVAP Portal online or submit it via email (link on the right).
  2. Receive Your Claim Number. Once the province processes and approves your request, you will receive an approval letter containing a unique CVAP Claim Number and your pre-authorized session count.
  3. Book Your Session. Fill out our quick contact form, let us know your preferred time, input your CVAP Claim Number and we will handle the rest of the logistical setup from there!
