The contact form
If you send a question through the contact form, the name, email, phone number (if you give one) and message you enter are emailed to Josie and stored with Netlify, the company that hosts this website. Please keep messages brief and don't include detailed health information. We can talk about the details during your consult.
Booking
Booking links open Jane, the online booking system used by Empowering Health Clinic. Information you enter in Jane is handled under Jane's and the clinic's privacy practices.
Analytics and advertising
This website may use Google Analytics and Google Ads to understand how people find and use the site, for example whether someone tapped a booking button. These tools use cookies and similar technology. They don't receive anything you share in counselling. You can manage ad personalization in Google's My Ad Center.
Your counselling information
Anything you share in counselling is kept confidential under the BC Association of Clinical Counsellors' Code of Ethical Conduct and British Columbia privacy law. Josie explains the limits of confidentiality before you begin.
